This dagger has a dark grey blade, sharpened on both sides. The hilt is a deep obsidian and shaped like a spinal column, extending through the center of the blade. Affixed to the bottom of the blade is a sizable red gem, partially opaque. When you find this blade, it may contain a number of charges of blood in the gem, which can be seen swirling in the gem as it is moved.
You have a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon.
If this dagger draws blood and you are not a demon, roll a Wisdom save (DC 10). On a fail, you hear a maddening Abyssal voice in your mind calling to be released. On your next turn, you must make another attack with this blade against an enemy. If no enemy is available, you may make another Wisdom save (DC 15) to resist. On failure, you must attack a creature, friendly or otherwise, if you are able.
If this dagger kills a creature, demons of equal CR to that of the creature killed are summoned. These demons hold no loyalty to the wielder of the blade, but may be grateful for their release. They serve their own purpose and may be hostile to the party.
For each kill, the dagger stores a small amount of the sacrificial blood imbued with abyssal magic. For each kill, one charge is stored. After 10 charges are reached, the dagger may be used to summon a demon of a CR that is up to half the amount of charges stored. All charges are used at once and cannot be partial used regardless of the CR of demon summoned. If you draw blood and fail your will save, all charges are used immediately in place of an attack and a demon of the appropriate CR is summoned.
Your DM will choose the demons summoned by this knife.
Proficiency with a Dagger allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Nick. When you make the extra attack of the Light property, you can make it as part of the Attack action instead of as a Bonus Action. You can make this extra attack only once per turn.
