While smoking this pipe, you receive a +1 bonus to intelligence checks related to investigation, deciphering of riddles or decoding of messages.

In addition, while smoking the pipe, you can can cast the locate object spell using the pipe as a focus. For the duration,  the pipe smoke will drift in the direction of the object, regardless of wind direction.  If you are a gnome, and roll a 6 on a 1d6, the duration and range for the locate spell are doubled.

This ability resets each day in the evening while smoking the pipe after eating supper.
