Artist Sketchbook

You can draw a specific creature that you have seen into this sketchbook, and for the next 24hrs the drawing shall be doing exactly what the original is doing at the moment.

- Making a Drawing takes 10min, and if the check fails the drawn creature is immune to the effects of this item for 24hrs.

- The drawing will be doing exactly what the creature is doing, but only the creature itself can be seen, nothing it interacts with is visible. (For example you can see that the creature is sleeping, but you cannot see the bed)

- This item can only be used successfully once per day. (In one day, unlimited attempts are allowed, but each attempt must depict a different creature)

- The creature in the drawing must be recognizable from the drawing and must not lack any distinct features (if the creature has lost an arm, and the drawing still has it, the effect will not work).

- A Dex-based performance check is required for the effect to work.  The base DC is 25, but can be changed based on these modifiers:

               - The wielder only knows the creature from a painting: +3 DC

               - The wielder has personally seen the creature within 24hrs: - 5 DC

               - The wielder is looking at the creature while drawing them: -15 DC

               - The wielder is on another plane of existence: +5 DC

               - The wielder has not seen the creature for:

                             - Over a year: +5 DC

                             - Over 10 years: + 10 DC

                             - Over 25 years: + 15 DC
