Weapon (spear), very rare (requires attunement by a Druid, Sorcerer, Warlock, or Wizard)

Frostlyte is a light, flexible metal that is as hard as adamantine and infused by fey magic born of the winter court. Weapons made from this material have a slightly blue metallic sheen and are often infused with cold energy. This particular spear is tipped with a blade of blue ice.

You have a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon.

This weapon deals an additional 1d8 cold damage on a successful hit.

You have resistance to cold damage while you hold this spear.

While attuned to this spear your maximum attunement slots are set to 6.

The spear has 10 charges. While holding it, you can use an action to expend 1 or more of its charges to cast one of the following spells from it, using your spell save DC: cone of cold (5 charges), fog cloud (1 charge), ice storm (4 charges), or wall of ice (4 charges).

The spear regains 1d6 + 4 expended charges daily at dawn. If you expend the last charge, roll a d20. On a 1, the spear tip turns to water and is destroyed, and only a frostlyte quarter staff will remain, with no charges or spell powers contained within.

Proficiency with a Spear allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Sap. If you hit a creature with this weapon, that creature has Disadvantage on its next attack roll before the start of your next turn.
