The Amulet of Insults is a collection of silver discs with various expressions carved into their face linked together. It is imbued with an enchantment that makes a person's insults more effective.
A spellcaster attuned to this amulet has the power of their vicious mockery increased. While attuned to and wearing this amulet, a spellcaster's vicious mockery damage die becomes a d8 instead of a d4. (This includes the additional damage dice gained from leveling up.) Additionally, vicious mockery cast by someone wearing and attuned to this amulet does half damage, but has no additional effects, on a failed saving throw against it.
