This magical shield has been fortified with a black dragon's hide, and bears the giant "kong" rune, meaning king. The powerful essence of a scorned fire giant emanates from its core.
While holding the shield, you gain a +1 to AC. This is in addition to the normal bonus provided by the shield. You also benefit from the following properties:
Winter’s Friend. You are resistant to cold damage.
Natural Leader. You have advantage on Charisma (Intimidation) and (Persuasion) ability checks made to influence creatures of the same type as you.
Bless. You can cast the bless spell from the shield. The spell does not require concentration and lasts for 1 minute. Once you cast the spell from the shield, you can’t do so again until you finish a short or long rest.
Shields require the Utilize action to Don or Doff. You gain the Armor Class benefit of a Shield only if you have training with it.
