This entirety of this hammer is forged from a single piece of mithral, with its head beautifully crafted into the shape of an anvil. Magical runes and symbols of Moradin have been inscribed into the sides of the anvil, which glow when the mace is thrown, or when impacting constructs and objects. Its large handle is hollow, indicating that this weapon may be incomplete
Even though forged from mithral, the hammer is unbalanced and it's considerable size makes for an unusually cumbersome weapon. Any person without considerable strength would be unable to wield it effectively.
You gain a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon. The bonus increases to +2 when you use the mace to attack a construct or object. The hammer has the thrown property, but due to its lack of balance, its normal range is limited to 10 feet and long range of 30 feet. When you hit with a ranged attack using this weapon, it deals an extra 1d6 force damage
The Head of Aegis is specifically attuned to its wielder. Once per turn as a free action, its wielder can magically recall the mace to his or her hand from up to 120 feet using a telepathic command word.
Proficiency with a Warhammer allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Push. If you hit a creature with this weapon, you can push the creature up to 10 feet straight away from yourself if it is Large or smaller.
Notes: Bonus: Magic, Ranged Weapon Attack: Force, Weapon Property: Thrown, character with at least 15 STR, Damage, Versatile, Push
