Amulet of Bitch Slap +1

History: The Amulet of ***** Slap was first made as a gag gift by the Wizard Kord Thistlevale to a Brawler named Amos Northrend.  However its popularity and reputation as a magic item grew quickly.  Soon Kord was inundated with requests for more from wealthy adventurers both near and far.  Its is uncertain how many Amulets were made over the years before Kord's untimely death.  However from Kord's own letters kept at the Library at Kingsport, at least 30 are known to have been made, and likely more.

Description: Shaped like an open hand inscribed with runes and made from Llandium (Landium with two LL's); the amulet is typically hung about a chain of brass

Benefits: The +1 Amulet of ***** Slap grants the wearer +1 to AC.

The Amulet also protects the wearer physically:

The Amulet protects the wearer with a defensive (Reaction) ***** slap under some circumstances:  The ***** slap comes from a huge (12' long 8") wide energy backhand or forehand slap, and does 2d4+4 HP Bludgeoning damage.  DC 10 Dex Save plus the wearers proficiency bonus for half damage.

All are Reactions if the wearer wishes.

1) The first time per combat scenario that an enemy enters within 10' of the wearer -or-

2) Anytime the wearer has a grapple attempt made against him or her -or-

3) Anytime an enemy within 10' has a higher initiative and is acting in some way that adversely affects the wearer of an ally. -or- 

4) As part of a reaction to a hostile intimidation attempt being made against the wearer from an enemy within 10' -or-

5) As part of an attempt by the wearer to intimidate and grants the wearer advantage on that intimidation roll.  In this case the ***** Slap is threatened only and not actually used as a means by which to cause damage.
