Weapon (shortsword), artifact (requires attunement by a Rogue)

A smooth, slightly transparent amber crystal blade that gives off a feint glow when unsheathed. This weapon was once wielded by a legendary thief. Placing the tip of the blade on locks, doors or containers may prove to have interesting results...

You have a +2 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon. You may expend a charge by placing the tip of the blade into a lock or against a container/door to cast either Knock or Arcane lock on the door/container. If you cast Knock using this ability, roll a d20. On an 11 or higher, the spell does not make the loud knocking noise. If you have proficiency in Thieves Tools, you may add 1d6 to this role. Sneak attacks with this weapon do an additional 1 damage per sneak attack die.

Proficiency with a Shortsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Vex. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to the creature, you have Advantage on your next attack roll against that creature before the end of your next turn.

Notes: Bonus: Magic, Rogue, Damage, Combat, Finesse, Light, Vex
