You gain a +100 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon.
When you hit an enemy with this weapon, the enemy takes an extra 3d6 slashing damage. For the purpose of this weapon, that it`s to strike fear into your enemies when you use this weapon if you are a Half dragon or a Dragonborn. But know that this sword cannot attack allies and can`t kill unless they are enemies to you.
The double-bladed scimitar is the signature weapon of Valenar elves. A haft of fine wood supports a long, curving blade on either end. Forged with techniques honed over centuries, these blades are strong, sharp, and remarkably light. Each scimitar is a masterpiece, and as a result the double-bladed scimitar is an expensive weapon (100 gp) — few though ever have the opportunity to purchase one. A Valenar blade in the hands of a non-elf is generally assumed to have been stolen or looted from a fallen foe, and a Valenar elf might feel entitled to demand its return or challenge the bearer to prove they’re worthy to wield it.
Special. If you attack with a double-bladed scimitar as part of the Attack action on your turn, you can use a bonus action immediately after to make a melee attack with it. This attack deals 1d4 slashing damage on a hit, instead of 2d4.
Notes: Bonus: Magic, Damage: Additional, Advantage: Strength Ability Checks, Damage, Combat, Special, Two-Handed

Posted Aug 14, 2022Not gonna lie that plus 100 is pretty useless. I still don't hit anything, and when I do, it almost never kills.
Wait... the notes say this also gives advantage to strength ability checks! That alone makes the weapon far too powerful.

Posted Jul 24, 2024"You gain a +100 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon." - WHY?
"For the purpose of this weapon, that it`s to strike fear into your enemies when you use this weapon if you are a Half dragon or a Dragonborn." - No wisdom check for this to occur or does this apply just by being wielded by a half-dragon or dragon born? Still, what's the DC?

That's not conclusive.

Two-Handed - weird tag. doesn't make sense...as the whole weapon too.
