This amulet can be worn as a necklace or other charm, increasing the users spell attack bonus by 1.
When the user casts a spell, they can channel energy through the amulet, utilizing it as a spellcasting focus. Any time the user casts a spell they must roll a D20. On a roll of 20, on a spell attack, the spell inflicts the maximum damage possible. If a 20 is rolled and the spell does not require an attack roll, the user can choose to empower the spell to the next level or recover the spend spell slot.
If you roll a 1 in either circumstance, however, the spell drains your magical energy. The spell fails and you lose an additional spell slot equal to the failed spell slot or 1st level slot, whichever is higher. If the user does not have a suitable spell slot remaining, the user will lose the ability to maintain concentration or to cast spells until the end of their next turn.
