A simple wooden yumi, with strange engravings of tentacles. It has a sapphire set just above the centre, where it'd be held. The handles is wrapped in a strange material that seems to be like seaweed, but far more comfortable. The string is a sea-green in colour, and seems to shine slightly.
Whenever this weapon rolls to hit and misses, the wielder can reroll the attack, or choose to instead attack a different enemy, within 300ft of where the arrow landed. On a crit, tentacles erupt from the ground, and the target disappears for a turn. When they reappear, they're petrified for a turn.
Proficiency with a Longbow allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Slow. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to it, you can reduce its Speed by 10 feet until the start of your next turn. If the creature is hit more than once by weapons that have this property, the Speed reduction doesn’t exceed 10 feet.
