Anubis is a longsword, with a slightly curved, rectangular blade. A ruby decorates its simple but elegant handle.
Not Your Average Sword
Anubis was forged many years ago. It's original owner, Caravan Serai, had forged it out of broken blades and blood from fallen warriors. Due to the mix of metal, it became an extremely strong blade that soon gained sentience. It took control of Caravan, and killed many men. Word of Anubis's power reached a legendary status, and was traded hands throughout the century.
Anubis has the ability to control whoever tries to wield it, in addition to giving whoever wields it perfect mastery over the Art of the Blade. When someone tries to wield the blade, they must succeed on a DC 14 Wisdom saving throw or be controlled by Anubis for 24 hours. After 24 hours, a DC 15 Wisdom saving throw must be succeeded on or Anubis will take complete control over your character. Your alignment will be changed to Chaotic Evil, and you will only hunger for war.
