A set of 1d4+1 throwing knives that have the ability to store certain spells into each individual knife. The knives give a faint glow with an ancient arcane script when a spell is stored inside of it yet look like generic throwing knives when empty.
Any creature can cast a cantrip up to a 4th level spell into each individual knife by touching it as the spell is cast. The spell has no effect, other than to be stored in the knives. The knives can only hold spells require the spell caster to make a ranged or melee spell attack. If the spell is 5th level or higher, forces a target to make a saving throw (without a melee or ranged spell attack roll) or gives a healing/restorative effect, the spell is reflected, targeted or centered onto the spell caster.
When a knife holding a spell is used in a ranged or melee attack, as a part of the same action, you can have the dagger release the stored spell dealing the damage the spell normally would cause. You must decide to release the spell before making your attack roll. On a hit or miss, the stored spell is used.
Proficiency with a Dagger allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Nick. When you make the extra attack of the Light property, you can make it as part of the Attack action instead of as a Bonus Action. You can make this extra attack only once per turn.
Notes: Bonus: Magic, Finesse, Light, Thrown, Nick
