Weapon (mace), uncommon (requires attunement by a Warforged)

battlefist resembles a massively oversized gauntlet and is designed to replace the hand of a warforged.

If you’re a warforged, you can attach a battlefist by attuning to it. An attached battlefist cannot be disarmed or removed from you against your will. You can spend one minute to end the attunement and remove the battlefist.

You have a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon. If the warforged is a monk, the battlefist counts as a mace and is treated as a valid monk weapon.

battlefist has many utilities in battle:

  • The battlefist grants advantage on Strength(Athletics) checks to grapple or crush with the battlefist.
  • The battlefist may be used to cast the spell shocking grasp up to 3 times. This fully recharges after a long rest. If the target is already grappled by the wearer of the battlefist, then the shocking grasp automatically hits, needing no attack roll.
  • Any fine manipulation with the battlefist is difficult (treat any delicate tasks with that hand as being at disadvantage).

Proficiency with a Mace allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Sap. If you hit a creature with this weapon, that creature has Disadvantage on its next attack roll before the start of your next turn.
