Wondrous Item, artifact

A victorian steel locket pocketwatch, with a glowing green clock face, that seems to shimmer and radiate with contained energy. The pockwatch has a locket lid that can cover its surface, and a button on the top which can be wound clockwise or counter-clockwise. The pocketwatch also has a strong steel chain attached to the bottom. The infinity gem (time stone) inside the pocketwatch is an incredibly powerful artifact that can warp and manipulate time. The pocketwatch can only be used by members of a certain bloodline, as the pocketwatch is imbued with a spell that prevents others from using it. The time stone's imbued magic properties cannot be dispelled or counter-spelled.

The hands on the clockface show how much time has elapsed for you during stopped time, or while you have been travelling fast or reversing time. The clockface resets whenever a spell ends.

Spells:

While holding the pocketwatch, you can activate the powerful array of spells stored in it by clicking the button down or winding it back or forwards. Each spell takes an action to perform. Your clothes travel with you. Anything over 1 inch from the surface of your flesh does not travel with you, for example, large items will not travel with you.

Time Stop. You press the button at the top. As long as you are holding the pocketwatch against your flesh, the spell will remain active, to a limit of 12 hours. You shift out of the normal flow of time, and the world around you seems to halt completely. You can run around, make attacks against other creatures, steal items, or whatever else as normal, during stopped time. While time is stopped, you can walk on water as if it were a solid. The spell ends once you press the button again, or if you drop the pocketwatch. To observers, it will seem like you simply vanished and appeared somewhere else in an instant. (At will)

Accelerate Time. You can travel to the future by winding the clock forwards. Turning the button clockwise once increases the pace of time for everything except you, 1 minute for you is 1 hour for the rest of the universe. Turning it twice increases the speed to 1 day per minute, turning it three times increases the speed to 1 week per minute, and twisting it four times increases the speed to 1 month per minute. Turning it five times increases the speed to 1 year per minute. Turning it six times reaches the max speed, making one minute for you, ten years for the rest of the universe. While accelerating time, you do not exist to observers around you. You only pop back into existence when the spell ends and you arrive in the future. You can stand and watch as buildings rise and fall around you, fashions change, and people age. While travelling, you are considered ethereal, and you float in position, and cannot interact with the environment. If you arrive and are inside another object, you are shunted to the closest available free space. You stop travelling in time if you turn the button counter-clockwise to its original position, or if you drop the pocketwatch. The accelerating travel also automatically ends if it goes on longer than 12 hours. (At will)

Reverse Time. You can travel to the past by winding the clock backwards. Turning the button counter-clockwise once reverses the pace of time for everything except you, 1 minute for you is 1 hour back in time for the rest of the universe. While reversing time, you do not exist to observers around you. You only pop back into existence when the spell ends and you arrive in the past. You can stand and watch as buildings are "unbuilt" around you, fashions change, and people you knew as old suddenly can be seen as when they were young. While travelling, you are considered ethereal, and you float in position, and cannot interact with the environment. If you arrive and are inside another object, you are shunted to the closest available free space. You stop travelling back in time if you turn the button clockwise to its original position, or if you drop the pocketwatch. The reversing travel also automatically ends if it goes on longer than 12 hours. Your actions in the past change history, and reality reshapes itself accordingly (decided by the DM). You can interact with your past self using this spell. After using this spell, your current body will become immune to changes in history, so theoretically you can kill your past self and your body will not be erased, but all trace of you will be erased from the timeline. (1/Day)

After using any of these spells, you will then be identifiable as an extraplanar entity (time traveller) to creatures with Truesight.
