You have a +2 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon. This weapon can only be used by a Way of the Four Elements monk.
This staff has small panels in the sides that can be extended with the touch of a button. Once pressed, fanned glider wings spring outwards, allowing a skilled air bender to manipulate the weapon in the following ways.
Glider Flight- The monk leaps into the air, extending the wind fans and using the weapon as a gliding device to carry themselves effortlessly through the sky.
As an action, you may cast the Gust cantrip in order to control the wind currents around the glider and use it to fly. Casting Gust In this way requires concentration and you gain the following effects:
-Your gain a fly speed equal to your movement speed plus an additional boost at certain levels, (Lvl one: 5 ft, Lvl five: 10 ft, Lvl eleven: 15 ft, Lvl seventeen: 20 ft) but you cannot hover.
-While concentrating on this feature, any attacks made at you have disadvantage and any dexterity saving throws are made with advantage. However, if your concentration is broken you fall from the sky.
-Unless you are already falling or flying, 10 feet of movement in a straight line is required to activate this property. This movement can be horizontal or vertical.
Air Bending-. Using Ki, the monk gains access to the following spell list as they increase in level:
Level 3: Wind Blast- 2 ki points each to cast the Thunderwave and Zephyr Strike spells.
Level 5: Wind Shield- 3 ki points to cast the Warding Wind spell.
Level 11: Wind Wall- 4 ki points to cast the Wind Wall spell.
Level 17: Body of Wind- 7 ki points to cast the Investiture of Wind spell.
None of these abilities can be cast while concentrating on the Gust spell during the glider's flight.
Proficiency with a Quarterstaff allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Topple. If you hit a creature with this weapon, you can force the creature to make a Constitution saving throw (DC 8 plus the ability modifier used to make the attack roll and your Proficiency Bonus). On a failed save, the creature has the Prone condition.
