This crossbow is made sun-bleached driftwood and cobalt mechanism. These arrows deal cold damage rather than piercing and deal 1 additional damage on
hit.
- You have a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon.
- Once per day when you fire an aquatic arrow, you can use your bonus action to cause the arrow to explode in a powerful torrent of water as it hits its target. Each enemy within 10 feet of the target must make a DC 14 Dexterity saving throw, taking 2d6 cold damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.
Proficiency with a Hand Crossbow allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Vex. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to the creature, you have Advantage on your next attack roll against that creature before the end of your next turn.
