A greater battlefist resembles a massively oversized gauntlet and is designed to replace the hand of a warforged.
If you’re a warforged, you can attach a greater battlefist by attuning to it - to do so you must also be proficient with martial weapons. An attached greater battlefist cannot be disarmed or removed from you against your will. You can spend one minute to end the attunement and remove the greater battlefist .
You have a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon.
A greater battlefist has many utilities in battle:
- The greater battlefist grants advantage on Strength(Athletics) checks to grapple or crush with the greater battlefist .
- The greater battlefist may be used to cast the spell shocking grasp up to 3 times. This fully recharges after a long rest. If the target is already grappled by the wearer of the greater battlefist , then the shocking grasp automatically hits, needing no attack roll.
- Any fine manipulation with the greater battlefist is difficult (treat any delicate tasks with that hand as being at disadvantage).
Proficiency with a Warhammer allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Push. If you hit a creature with this weapon, you can push the creature up to 10 feet straight away from yourself if it is Large or smaller.
