Masterwork Items are crafted with such skill and talent that one could easily consider them a piece of fine art. They often possess some type of unique function. Even the most mundane item can be magical but they are one of the only types of items that can not only be enchanted but have enchantments placed or transferred on to them past their creation date. When you hit with a Masterwork Weapons you re-roll any damage dice that land on a result of 1.
You can’t add the masterwork quality to a weapon after it is created.
The blade of this sword seems to be crafted from some sort of resin, impossibly strong and sharp. On a hit, if the attack roll is 5 higher than the tagets AC this weapon does an additional 1d4 of damage.
Mastercraft Items do not start out magical but can have enchantments placed or moved onto them.
Proficiency with a Shortsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Vex. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to the creature, you have Advantage on your next attack roll against that creature before the end of your next turn.
