Wondrous Item, legendary (requires attunement by a Cleric, Celestial Warlock or Divine Soul Sorcerer)

Argaraath is a magic sphere, created by Mystra and Oghma themselves. Once attuned to a user, Argaraath will float next to user within 5 ft. It does not need to be carried, but can be if the user chooses to do so.

Dormant

While wearing Argaraath in its dormant state, you gain the following benefits:

  • You gain a +1 bonus to spell attack rolls and to the saving throw DCs of your Cleric, Sorcerer or Warlock spells.
  • Argaraath holds 10 charges and regains 1d8+2 expended charges at dawn each day. Using the charges, the user can cast Bless (1 charge), Aid (2 charges, +1 charge per level, maximum 5th-level version), Remove Curse (4 charges). You use your Cleric/Warlock/Sorcerer Spell Save DC and Spellcasting Ability for theese spells.
  • You can choose one of sorcerer's metamagic. You learn it and you can use charges instead of sorcery points.

Awakened

When Argaraath reaches an awakened state, it gains the following properties:

  • The item's bonus to spell attack rolls and to the saving throw DCs increases to +2.
  • Argaraath gains 5 more charges for a total of 15 daily charges and regains expended charges at a rate 2d6+3 at dawn daily. You can also cast Death Ward (6 charges), Greater Restoration (7 charges), Dispel Evil and Good (7 charges)
  • You can ignore Concentration for spells you cast from Argaraath, but if you cast another spell from it and you want to ignore Concentration from it, the previous one ends or return it's Concentration requirement.

Notes: Bonus: Spell Attacks, Bonus: Spell Save DC, Cleric, Celestial Warlock or Divine Soul Sorcerer
