The Amulet of the Embroglio features a gleaming, pale blue gem within a round, silver frame.
After wearing it for one day, the user gains resistance to acid damage. Casting Identify or succeeding on a DC 24 Arcana check will unlock full knowledge of it. After full knowledge of the amulet is unlocked, the user can attempt to change the type of granted damage resistance once per day by passing a DC 16 spell casting check (spell modifier + proficiency bonus). If the user is not adept in any arcane arts (either learned or inherent), they must instead pass a DC 24 Arcana check. This check must be made every time the user wishes to make that change. If the user fails the check, the resistance type doesn't change.
Notes: Wearing the amulet for 1 day will allow the user basic functionality. Casting Identify or succeeding on a DC 20 Arcana check will unlock all knowledge of it.
