Millenia ago, a warrior descended from the heavens, with one mission: destroy the plague that is the undead. Eventually, he fell in battle, but not before bonding his soul to his weapon. Now, whoever weilds Zuriel becomes imbued with his lifeforce, and a single mission: destroy undead, wherever it is.
When first weilding this weapon, make a DC 12 Wisdom saving throw. Failing this throw causes you to drop the weapon, forever being unworthy. Succeeding shifts your allignment to Chaotic Good.
This weapon grants advantage against undead creatures, and resistance to necrotic damage. When dealing damage, you may deal an additional 1d10 radiant damage. 2d10 if the enemy is undead.
While weilding this weapon, you can speak and understand Celestial.
While weilding this, you and all allies within 20ft have advantage on death saving throws.
If a non sentient creature picks up this weapon, they suddenly become awakened.
Weilding this weapon bonds it to your soul, and you cannot part with the weapon for more than a day. If you do, your soul burns up from the inside, killing you instantly and stopping you from ever being revived. While holding Zuriel in your hands, you can hear the voice of Zuriel guiding you in battle.
Proficiency with a Greatsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Graze. If your attack roll with this weapon misses a creature, you can deal damage to that creature equal to the ability modifier you used to make the attack roll. This damage is the same type dealt by the weapon, and the damage can be increased only by increasing the ability modifier.
Notes: Heavy, Two-Handed, Graze
