This armor is as strong as Scale Mail armor.
While wearing this armor, as a bonus action, you may speak the command word to give yourself resistance to all types of non-magical projectiles. When you speak the command word, roll a D20. If a 11 or higher, the armor also gains resistance to magical projectiles.
This special resistance lasts for one hour time, and may be activated twice per short rest.
Curse: If you roll a 10 or lower upon activating this item 3 times in a row, you are now cursed until you are cured with a remove curse spell. The count goes up by 2 if you roll a 1, or resets to 0 if you take a long rest. If you receive this curse, every time you are hit by a projectile, roll a D20 contested with your opponent's attack roll. If you fail, you take double damage from the projectile, ignoring any resistance you have from this armor, if any.
This armor consists of a coat and leggings (and perhaps a separate skirt) of leather covered with overlapping pieces of metal, much like the scales of a fish. The suit includes gauntlets.
