Weapon (flail), uncommon

An unusual weapon given by high ranking devils to those they believe worthy of controlling those around them.

These shackles come in pairs, the length of these is seemingly infinite (300ft long) as the chains come out of small portals usually mounted on ones wrists or forearm, Though their length can be adjusted up to 300ft length by the wielder, they aren't very good for combat after reaching roughly 15-30 feet.

The damage type of the shackles can be changed on command by the wielder if they choose to spend a Bonus action to do so.

-Piercing (1d8+Modifiers) Spikes will appear along the length of the chains When this damage type is chosen the wielder gains advantage on grapple checks with the shackles.

-Slashing (2d8+modifires+1d4) Chains become serrated and deal increased damage but also harm the wielder every time they deal an attack (1d10 Slashing). the wielder also gains disadvantage on Grapples.

-Bludgeoning (1d8+modifiers) The chains become thicker and they're weight increases dealing normal damage and gaining no beneficial or Negative effects.

If Someone is grappled by these weapons the wielder may either choose to constrict the blades to deal double normal damage or begin a domination process.

The Domination of ones will is not an easy task, a creature grappled by the shackles of domination is able to not only fight against being held by the shackles but also able to fight against the oppressing will of the shackles wielder. The domination process works much like death saves first to 3. However instead of rolling straight d20's and hoping you get higher than 10. The Wielder and the Grappled target both must fight each others wills the Wielder can choose between either Persuasion or intimidation the target creature must roll insight the higher roll gets a point. If the Shackles wielder gets to 3 points before the Target does then the target must follow the commands of the wielder for the next 24 hours, though they aren't charmed it's more like an outside force is making them follow said commands (Good for humiliation) The wielder can NOT command the target to do anything that would harm themselves directly, but they can be commanded to fight to the death. If the Target get's to 3 points before the Wielder they are immune to the Domination effect for the next 7 days, they they can still be grappled.

Proficiency with a Flail allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
