Armour of the Crawling Empire

The alien designs of patterns on this weapon/armour are vaguely reminiscent of reaching tentacles or slithering scales. In function, it fits a humanoid perfectly, but something about the designs tugs at the mind. When seen from the corner of the eye, they seem to slither and squirm, but when looked at directly it is completely inanimate. You have a +1 bonus to AC while wearing this armour. In addition, while equipped, the mind is infused with knowledge, and the user gains proficiency with Undercommon.

Made from tough but flexible leather, studded leather is reinforced with close-set rivets or spikes.

Notes: Bonus: Armor Class, Language: Undercommon, Combat, Warding
