While holding this adamantine shield, you have a +2 bonus to AC and as a reaction when you suffer a critical hit, you can turn that hit into a normal hit. Any effects triggered by a critical hit are canceled.. This bonus is in addition to the shield's normal bonus to AC. Additionally, this shield has 12 charges that you can use to cast spell from it. As an action, you can expend 3 charges to cast wall of water or 4 charges to cast watery sphere, with the exception that both the spell's ranges become 5 feet. The shield regain 1d8 + 2 charges at dawn.
Shields require the Utilize action to Don or Doff. You gain the Armor Class benefit of a Shield only if you have training with it.
