This suit of armor is reinforced with a magically enhanced metal alloy called mizzium, which is made in Izzet foundries. While you’re wearing the armor, any critical hit against you becomes a normal hit at the cost of a roll on the Wild Magic table. In addition, when you are subjected to a magical effect that allows you to make a Strength or Constitution saving throw to take only half damage, you instead take no damage if you succeed on the saving throw.

Louis Zima has modified the chemical composition of the Mizzium in this suit to be more lightweight. It can be worn under normal clothing, does not impose disadvantage on Dexterity (Stealth) checks and has no strength requirement.

In addition, anti-gravity circuitry embedded in the metal allows the wearer to cast the Fly spell on themselves twice per day.

Half plate consists of shaped metal plates that cover most of the wearer's body. It does not include leg protection beyond simple greaves that are attached with leather straps.
