Weapon (dagger), rare (requires attunement by a creature proficient with the weapon type)

While in view, this weapon is clearly made of expensive materials by skilled craftsmen. The weapon is constructed with strange geometry but still functions as a normal weapon of that type. The weapon is considered magical for the sake of overcoming damage resistance and resisting damage done to the weapon.

Unless attuned, anything that has seen the weapon will simply forget that it exists unless they can actively touch or see it. Evidence of the weapon is not forgotten, but the type/location/owner of the weapon will be. For example, a guard could know that someone had a weapon, but not who, or where it is now. A lazy or inattentive guard may simply think they made a mistake, while alert guards may be put on edge by the sudden fear they have of a weapon that isn't present. It is up to your DM to decide how they interpret this mental discrepancy.

Proficiency with a Dagger allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Nick. When you make the extra attack of the Light property, you can make it as part of the Attack action instead of as a Bonus Action. You can make this extra attack only once per turn.

Notes: creature proficient with the weapon type, Finesse, Light, Thrown, Nick
