Ashglade's Ring of Protection

This ring was once a prized possession of the Ashglade family. It is attached to a chain necklace and contains a singular uncut, glowing diamond as the gem that almost seems to be spilling out from the band. When attuned, the wearer may use an action to put the ring on.

While the ring is equipped to the wearers finger, they become incased in diamond originating from the point of the ring. The ring renders the wearer completely paralyzed other than their fingers and hand they used to equip the ring. While in-cased in this way, the wearer gains a +20 to AC temporarily. The wearer may use an action to unequip the ring from their finger, disabling the effect.

This action can be used twice per long rest.
