In times of strife angels may break off pieces of their consciousness and bind them within holy weapons wielded by mortal champions. Though twists of fate these blessed blades inevitable return to the divine being that created them, allowing the angel to gain all knowledge of what the blade has witnessed.
You gain a +2 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon. When you hit a fiend or an undead with it this bonus increases to +5. A fiend or an undead slain by this weapon is destroyed utterly and cannot be restored by any means short of a wish spell.
Additionally, while attuned you may converse with the angelic presence within the blade. The angel blade is a sentient lawful good weapon with an Intelligence of 15, a Wisdom of 12, and a Charisma of 17. It has hearing and true sight out to a range of 120 feet.
Blessed. This weapon is blessed and becoming attuned to it extends the blessing to you if you are worthy. The blessing will be removed if you perform actions that are evil or unjust. While blessed, when you are reduced to 0 hit points but not killed outright, your hit points are immediately restored to maximum. Your body is then possessed by the angel within the blade, transforming your body into an angelic form which radiates bright light up to 120 feet and has a flying speed of 90 feet. After 1 minute the angel is compelled to return to to the blade and restored your body to its normal form, keeping its current amount of hit points. You can't benefit from this blessing again for 7 days.
Proficiency with a Longsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Sap. If you hit a creature with this weapon, that creature has Disadvantage on its next attack roll before the start of your next turn.
