Weapon (shortbow), very rare (requires attunement)

This bow bears an uncanny resemblance to a massive, hideous spider. Its forelimbs hold the bowstring taught and the fangs coat arrows in sickly green fluid as you nock them.

You have a +2 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon. This bow has 8 charges, regaining 1d6+2 expended charges at dawn.

When you attack a creature with this bow, you can expend a charge. Whenever a poisonless arrow you fire from this bow hits a creature, that creature must make a DC 13 Constitution saving throw, taking an additional 2d6 poison damage and becoming poisoned for one minute on a failed save. That creature can repeat its saving throw at the start of its turn, becoming immune to this bow's poison magic on a success for one hour.

If you fire a poison-coated arrow from this bow, the effect above instead adds an additional 2d6 poison damage to the poison's failed saving throw effect.

Proficiency with a Shortbow allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Vex. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to the creature, you have Advantage on your next attack roll against that creature before the end of your next turn.

Notes: Bonus: Magic, Damage, Combat, Ammunition, Range, Two-Handed, Vex
