You have come into the possession of an adventurer's dream for living in the wild. It consists of a linen tarp, several layers thick, that has been properly oiled to stand up to the elements. It comes with a pair of finely crafted poles for holding up the tent, each etched with flowing lines of runes that add to their beauty. There are sturdy stakes made of hill giant bone, and there always seems to be enough string for holding the tent up, string that you swear wouldn't break except maybe under the most adverse of physical strain. Once erected and you climb inside, you'll find it more than large enough for two average sized campers and all of their belongings. You don't notice until maybe after you've used the tent half a dozen times, but the temperature inside the tent always seems to be the perfect environment for sleeping, no matter how cold or warm it gets outside. And it certainly keeps you dry from the elements. The fabric of the tent naturally repels insects commonly encountered in the wild, and even seems to warn you when anything of danger comes near to the tent.
The tent keeps the inside completely dry in the worst of natural weather. The inside of the tent will remain 65 degrees while the outside temp remains between -10 and +110 degrees. It will repel common insects through natural means. Once per 24 hours, the first person inside the tent can cast a form of the spell Alarm, which will awaken those within the tent with a silent mental nudge should anything dangerous come within 25 feet of the outside of the tent.
The tent will take even the newest of adventurers only 10 minutes to erect, and only weighs 5lbs when dismantled and put away inside the canvas carrying bag that comes with it.
