Posted Nov 7, 2020Use this Magic Item for Ravnica at lv. 14. I used this at the same time. If overpowered, take away the 9th, 8th, and 7th level spells. The story of this item is below.
Acani was a high Representative for the Orzhov Syndicate. He had a negotiation that went wrong with the Boros Legion. The negotiation went to battle. Acani was killed in Battle. Boros recovered his arms. They took it away, but there was a curse that whoever least deserved it, would get it. That night, House Dimir snuck into Sunhome and stole the arms of Acani. Dimir seems like the person who least deserved the arms were Dimir, in particular Lazav (See Chapter 6 of Guildmasters’ Guide to Ravnica for Stat block).
There are going to be some major spoilers following.
In Ravnica, the Guilds are starting to be corrupt because the Living Guildpact was destroyed. Three of the Guilds are Orzhov Syndicate, Boros Legion, and House Dimir. Krenko’s way is an Adventure that you must capture the Goblin Krenko, while the Shattergang Brothers try to kill him. While trying to find him, you run into the goblin Erko. You also see the Human Scorchbringer Guard (See Chapter 6 of Guildmasters’ Guide to Ravnica) named Falish. You were hired by a Vedalken Noble named Nassius. After you catch Krenko, you can continue the adventure. I said that Nassius was Lazav (See Chapter 6 of Guildmasters’ Guide to Ravnica.) At Lv. 14, you see an Elf who when you kill has a Sack that has a Ring, Sword, Bow, And Half Plate. But the catch is that it is small. Only a Sprite could fit into it. One of the characters in my party is Part of the Golgari Swarm, and knows a Shaman who can make it grow. You need 3 characters to chant along with the Shaman, but they must know Elvish, Sylvan, Loxodon or any language that uses Elvish Script. If a character does not know one of those languages, they can hold the bag. After that, Dimir starts pursuing the Characters. Eventually, the DM must call when the Characters are tired of running from Dimir, and must destroy the arms. Before you do so, Boros asks you to find and give an artifact to the Cult of Rakdos. If not, they will go on a rampage. In the end, they must kill Lazav. At the end, the Characters should be on level 16. That is the end of the adventure. You don’t have to use this module, but my party likes it.
