This item can be used in conjunction with an arcane capacitor of any level to cast the spell stored within the capacitor. Casting the spell is not subject to the verbal, somatic, or material components of the spell as those are used to store the spell in the capacitor itself. The spell is however subject to the same casting time, range, etc of the spell. The spell attack modifier or spell DC is subject to those of the caster at the time that the spell was stored. For example, if at the time of casting the spell into the capacitor the original caster had a spell attack modifier of +5 and a spell DC of 13 then those would be the modifier and DC of the spell cast from the capacitor no matter who used the focus.
One action is required to attach a new Arcane Capacitor into the focus, and a bonus action is required to detach an existing one. This item can be used by anyone with the intelligence required to utilize a simple device, without any knowledge of arcana or the requirements or effects of the spell within.
