Weapon (trident), artifact (requires attunement)

This two-pronged bident has skulls etched along its shaft and "The courts remember" in Sylvan. While wielding this bident, you get +3 to all spell attacks.

+3 Melee Weapon Attack, Reach 5ft Hit: 1d6 piercing damage and 1d8 necrotic damage, or 1d8  piercing + 1d8 necrotic if wielded with two hands.

Spellcasting. While you are attuned to this weapon and it is on your person, you can cast control water, water breathing and water walk at will, without expending a spell slot.

Reaver's Sealing. You can use your action to seal a target affiliated with Umberlee that you can see within 60 feet. The target must make a Charisma saving throw (DC 21) or come under a permanent imprisonment spell, locking the target away in a pocket dimension, where it will survive in a state of suspended animation. The Seal ends if you use your action to dismiss it, or if someone uses a wish spell to free it.

Proficiency with a Trident allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.


This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Topple. If you hit a creature with this weapon, you can force the creature to make a Constitution saving throw (DC 8 plus the ability modifier used to make the attack roll and your Proficiency Bonus). On a failed save, the creature has the Prone condition.
