Anathema
Anathema was forged in 1003DR by a vampire lord named Mordoc SeLanmere. Mordoc had been a vampire for more than 600 years and had tried to improve his skills with necromancy. He made a breakthrough with the sword Anathema which he forged with the help of Bhaal.
Bhaal had risen to a god in the year 339DR and was still young and in the process of collecting disciples. The alliance between Bhaal and Mordoc SeLanmere led to Mordoc SeLanmere 1374DR conquering Baldur's Gate and making it a city full of zombies and undead. A crucial tool in this process was the sword Anathema.
