Armour of Thorns

This black studded leather has small, thorn-like spikes instead of studs. The spikes are made out of Ironwood, not actual metal.

You have a +1 bonus to AC while wearing this armor. 
In addition, while wearing this armor, when a creature within 5 feet of you hits you with a melee attack, you can use your
reaction to deal 2d4 magic piercing damage to them, as magical purple spikes pulse from the Ironwood thorns.

The armor consists of a breastplate, shoulderpads, wrist guards, and shin guards.

Made from tough but flexible leather, studded leather is reinforced with close-set rivets or spikes.
