This amulet is only given to those who have proven themselves in the eyes of their Mercenaries Guildhall Commander. A sacred pact exists between the Veritat of the Mercenaries Guild, to honor truce, quarter, and parley, and to bear the amulets of the fallen back to the Guild. In addition to its function as a symbol of this brotherhood, the Amulet confers 3 magical blessings on its wearers:
1st, all Veritat will always know the approximate direction and distance to the nearest established Guildhall. This is transmitted as a vague feeling, rather than specific knowledge.
2nd, if a Veritat is near death, they may dip their amulet in their heart's blood, and the nearest Guildhall Commander will be notified of their distress.
Finally, a Veritat may use an action to speak or whisper a message into their Amulet, which is then transmitted to all other Veritat Amulets within 150 feet.
