This 5 inch tall black obelisk, is an ancient artifact used by powerful mages to hold their possessions, wealth, and even other demiplanes. You can use an action to speak the command word "Open" to open the Arcane Vault. The vault is placed on the ground or it levitates down. A 20ft diameter, semi-translucent circle forms around the obelisk, allowing you to enter the Arcane Vault. While the vault is open you may speak the command word "Enter." Sending you, all creatures, and objects into the extradimensional space within the circle. The other plane that the Arcane Vault makes is infinite but can only receive creatures or objects that can fit in the magic circle.
The air inside the Arcane Vault is breathable. Inside the vault is a duplicate of the obelisk and circle to remove creatures and objects. While inside the Arcane Vault you may speak the command word "Leave" to leave the vault along with all creatures and objects inside the circle to the duplicate in the original plane.
To close the vault you can use an action to speak the command word "Close" to close the Arcane Vault. For any creature still inside the Arcane Vault while the vault is closed, they may speak the command word "Escape" to appear within 5ft of the Arcane Vault or the creature carrying it.
Placing a Arcane Vault inside an extradimensional space created by a bag of holding, handy haversack, portable hole, or similar item has no effect and the same is true vise-versa. This ancient artifact is the only known item that can store and be stored inside other demiplanes without a collapse of reality or creating gates to the Astral Plane.
