Arm of the Warforged Tinkerer

The Arm of the Warforged Tinkerer is the left arm of a Warforged artificer named Fire, Ready, Aim. Unlike a standard Warforged arm, which is made of wood and metal, it is entirely metallic, made from a mithral alloy. It was designed to replace a Warforged's left arm, but it can be used by any creature missing its left arm. It must be attached at the shoulder using Smith's Tools and a DC 14 Strength or Intelligence check, and it must be attached during a long rest to give the user time to adapt to the new arm. If the user is not a Warforged or construct, then a healing spell of 1st-level or greater must be used in addition to the Smith's Tools to encourage the flesh to bond with the arm, and if the user is incorporeal or gaseous in nature (e.g. a ghost or air elemental), then it cannot be used by that creature. Should the user become incorporeal or gaseous due to the effects of a spell such as Wind Walk, the arm changes form with the user. The arm functions the same as a typical arm, but with a few exceptions. The arm contains five fingers, unlike the standard three on a Warforged's hand. It was crafted as such to allow its creator greater precision when crafting.

Hollow Interior. The arm can contain up to two sets of Artisan's Tools, which can be removed or exchanged over the duration of a minute, and the arm can be used as a spellcasting focus for artificers.

Light Magic. The arm allows its wielder to cast the cantrips Light and Prestidigitation at will. When casting the spell Light, the object on which the spell is cast must be held in the Arm of the Warforged Tinkerer, and if the object leaves the arm, the spell ends.

Docent Slot. The arm has a socket where the user can attach a Docent. The user may use a Docent even if they are not a Warforged, provided that they attach the Docent to the socket. The arm does not allow the attachment of an Armblade, as the space that would normally house the Armblade is occupied by the Artisan's Tools and the mechanisms that allow the casting of cantrips and artificer spells.
