You have a +1 bonus to AC while wearing this armor.

This armor can absorb incoming attacks that target your allies. Whenever an allies is struck in combat by an enemy you are threatening or if they are struck while adjacent to you, you may have the armor absorb 1d12+Con modifier once per Long Rest.

Half plate consists of shaped metal plates that cover most of the wearer's body. It does not include leg protection beyond simple greaves that are attached with leather straps.
