Wondrous Item, very rare (requires attunement)
This shimmering blue cape has 3 charges and regains 1d4-1 spent charges at dawn. If an attack hits you, you may use your reaction to expend a charge and attempt to switch places with another creature within 60 ft. of you. The creature must make a Charisma saving throw (DC 13) or switch places with you, taking the damage of the attack.

Posted Jul 27, 2019This seems a lot like one of the Conjurer subclass abilities, no?
Does the creature you are attempting to switch places with Have to make the saving throw? Does this spell differentiate between friendly and unfriendly targets?

Posted Jul 31, 2019This is not a spell. This is similar to the conjurer ability but more reactionary. I have always played that a creature can voluntarily fail a saving throw, but I'd be more than happy to change the language to include a different viewing of the rules.
