Amalgamator's Stitches

A simple spool wrapped in shimmering thread, accompanied by an ornate black needle. 

Theres an old addage that says that laws are made to be broken, for the worshippers of Afflux, this extends to the laws of nature.

This item has 1d8+3 stitches, upon using all of its stitches, this item becomes an inert spool and needle. 

Amalgamate. If you are below half of your maximum HP, upon taking a long rest, you may choose to use 2 stitches to close your wounds that day, granting you undead-like endurance. After your long rest, you gain 20 points of Temporary HP, and for the next 24 hours you gain resistance to Necrotic damage and Immunity to Poison damage and the poisoned status.

Cosmetic Surgery. You may use 1 stitch to make one permanent, minor change to your appearance. For example you might affix horns to your head, add a sixth finger to one hand, or give yourself that nose job you so desperately needed. Any additions or changes made to your body this way, once healed, have full feeling and movement as though they have always been part of you, although body parts like fingers and toes may, on occasion, move on their own. Cosmetic Surgery may only be performed during a long rest. You cannot regain hit points during a long rest if you spend it performing Cosmetic Surgery.
