These paper chains when attuned, let you use them as a whip to grapple and seal creatures and abilities. You have a +2 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon. On a hit, you deal an extra 2D6 radiant damage to the target. When binding a creature you make a contested Intelligence check, on a success you bind the creature and may seal up to 3 damage immunities/resistances the creature may have as well as stopping the movement of a creature of huge or less. Every round on the creature's turn you make an Int saving throw starting at a DC of 5 and increasing by 5 every round to keep these effects. On a successful save the chains deal 5D6 radiant damage to the chained target. When you fail the DC, the chains fall away from the creature, and are inert for one round, before being able to be used again.
Proficiency with a Whip allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Slow. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to it, you can reduce its Speed by 10 feet until the start of your next turn. If the creature is hit more than once by weapons that have this property, the Speed reduction doesn’t exceed 10 feet.
