The Drive Blade takes advantage of using manufactured elemental canisters in the hilt of the weapon to empower the strikes of the next attacks.
You gain a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon.
Canister Initialization
The Drive Blade has 3 canisters in the hilt at a time, however only one canister can be used at a time. These canisters can be Cold, Fire, Lightning, Necrotic, or Radiant elemental types. When a Canister is activated, the next 3 rounds, all attacks deal base weapon damage plus 1d10 damage of the chosen canister type. Once the three rounds are over, the canister is automatically ejected onto the ground and the Drive Blade itself overheats, knocking its base damage down to 1d4 + Strength modifier for 1 round.
Canister Overdrive
By disengaging the limiter, you can boost the elemental damage massively, however you only get until the end of your turn before your weapon over heats. When you disengage the limiter, the elemental canister instead adds 4d10 of the chosen element to the attacks of the turn. At the end of the turn of this abilities usage, the blade overheats immediately for 3 rounds.
Proficiency with a Greatsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Graze. If your attack roll with this weapon misses a creature, you can deal damage to that creature equal to the ability modifier you used to make the attack roll. This damage is the same type dealt by the weapon, and the damage can be increased only by increasing the ability modifier.
Notes: Bonus: Magic, Damage, Buff, Utility, Combat, Consumable, Heavy, Two-Handed, Graze
