Weapon (laser pistol), rare

The Arcane Hand Cannon is a technological marvel created by a brilliant but mad artificer, the Arcane Hand Cannon consists of a powerful high energy "bolt" which consumes "bullets" made of radiant energy that is stored in a power crystal. The gun holds 20 shots before needing to be reloaded as a full action. power crystals used for ammo cost the same as a bundle of crossbow bolts (20) and may be enhanced.
Attacks with the Arcane Hand Cannon are ranged attacks that deal 3d6 damage + your Dexterity modifier, because of radiant energy. The gun can be fired as a single shot (default) or a 3 round burst (this needs to be stated at the beginning of attack rolls). It deals double damage against creatures vulnerable to radiant damage. Spent power crystals recharge in 1d8 hours. May equip per DM's discretion.

It’s up to you to decide whether a character has proficiency with a firearm. Characters in most D&D worlds wouldn’t have such proficiency. During their downtime, characters can use the training rules in the Player’s Handbook to acquire proficiency, assuming that they have enough ammunition to keep the weapons working while mastering their use.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Vex. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to the creature, you have Advantage on your next attack roll against that creature before the end of your next turn.

Notes: Bonus: Dexterity Attacks, Proficiency: Firearms, Weapon Property: Finesse, Expertise: Ranged Attacks, Feat: Sharpshooter, Damage, Combat, Range, Ammunition (Firearms), Reload, Vex
