This roll of leather has slots for 3 bolts. Above each slot etched into the leather is a different rune, one for lightning, acid, and fire. Once a bolt is put into the slot it uses one of 3 charges for that rune. That bolt uses one of the charges for that given rune despite whether the attack hit or not.

On a hit in addition to the attack's standard damage, it also inflicts 1d6 extra damage of the chosen rune.
