Weapon (rifle, automatic), varies

The Armat M41A Pulse Rifle is a powerful and lightweight assault rifle. Composed of ultra-light weight materials, the pulse rifle is designed as a compact package against enemy combatants with a cyclical rate of fire of 900rpm. The weapon fires a 10×24mm round, designated the M309, which is a 210 grain steel-jacketed and explosive tipped round within a rectangular Nitramine 50 propellant block. The weapon's magazine is designed to hold a maximum of 99 rounds, however many load theirs to 95, to prevent jamming. The weapon's electronics are powered by a lithium battery, which is good for 10,000 rounds before needing to be recharged. The weapon can fire from a 4 round burst or full automatic fire and uses an LCD ammo counter, which tells one how much ammo is in a single clip before reloading. The rifle can be equipped with various underslung weapons like a shotgun, however it's mainstay is 30mm U1 Pump-Action Grenade Launcher firing and holding 4 M40 HEDP Grenades.

It’s up to you to decide whether a character has proficiency with a firearm. Characters in most D&D worlds wouldn’t have such proficiency. During their downtime, characters can use the training rules in the Player’s Handbook to acquire proficiency, assuming that they have enough ammunition to keep the weapons working while mastering their use.
