The Amulet of Unfortunate Portents has 3 charges. Whenever you or a creature you can see within 30 feet of you makes an attack roll, a saving throw, or an ability check, you can expend a charge and use your reaction to roll a d8 and subtract the number rolled from the total.
The amulet regains all of its charges at the end of a long rest.
